1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service govern your access to and use of the BetterTrade mobile application, related website pages, and any connected download or support resources we provide.
2. Description of Service
BetterTrade is a personal trade-journaling and performance-review tool. Depending on the release and plan, it may let you:
- Record, organize, and review trades across supported markets.
- Store notes, screenshots, plans, tags, daily journal entries, and post-trade reviews.
- View analytics, scorecards, reports, reminders, and coaching outputs.
- Import and export journal data in supported formats.
- Use MetaTrader 5 helper flows, including MT5 Auto Sync tooling where offered.
- Purchase or restore optional BetterTrade Pro access through supported billing platforms.
BetterTrade is a journaling and analytics product only. It does not execute trades, act as a broker, hold funds, or manage capital on your behalf.
3. Not Financial Advice
All metrics, coaching outputs, statistics, reminders, reports, and other information presented by BetterTrade are for informational and educational purposes only. Nothing in the app or on this website constitutes financial, investment, legal, tax, or trading advice.
You remain solely responsible for your own trading and investment decisions. Past performance shown in the app does not guarantee future results.
4. Accounts and Eligibility
- You must be at least 13 years old, or the minimum age required in your jurisdiction, to use BetterTrade.
- You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your credentials and account access.
- You must provide accurate information when creating an account.
- If the app requires email verification for access, you must complete that step before using protected features.
- You may not create accounts or use devices in a way intended to abuse free-plan limits or access controls.
5. Subscriptions and Billing
BetterTrade may offer optional paid subscriptions or in-app purchases such as BetterTrade Pro. Billing, renewals, refunds where applicable, and payment processing are handled by the platform through which you purchased the subscription, such as Google Play, together with our subscription management provider.
Subscription prices are shown in the app or in the relevant store listing. Deleting your BetterTrade account does not automatically cancel a subscription; you must manage cancellation through the billing platform that handles your purchase.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use BetterTrade for unlawful activity or in violation of any applicable law or regulation.
- Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, copy, or extract source code from the app except where law expressly allows it.
- Upload malware, malicious files, or content designed to disrupt the service.
- Attempt to bypass quotas, subscriptions, consent gates, or other access-control mechanisms.
- Attempt to access another user's data or interfere with another person's use of the service.
- Use automated scripts or bots in a way that harms the service or violates these Terms.
7. Intellectual Property and Your Data
The BetterTrade app, website, branding, design, and software are owned by BetterTrade and protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You retain ownership of the journal content and trading data you submit. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive right to process that data solely to operate, secure, support, and improve the service.
8. Privacy
Your use of BetterTrade is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which explains how we collect, use, and protect information linked to your account and app usage.
9. Availability and Changes to the Service
We may add, remove, suspend, or modify features, integrations, or plan limits at any time. Some functionality may depend on third-party services, platform policies, device compatibility, or your subscription status.
We do not guarantee that every feature will be available on every device, in every country, or at every moment.
10. Disclaimer of Warranties
BetterTrade is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement.
We do not warrant that the app will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for any specific trading strategy or outcome.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, BetterTrade and its developer will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, trading losses, lost data, or goodwill, arising out of or related to your use of the service.
This limitation applies even if we were advised that such damages were possible.
12. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access to BetterTrade if you violate these Terms, abuse the service, or if we are required to do so by law or platform policy.
You may stop using the service at any time and may delete your account through the in-app deletion flow, subject to the billing note above for any active subscription.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws applicable to the operator of BetterTrade, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where consumer-protection law requires otherwise.
